Speed Is King

Elliot sat there, and felt the golden liquid settle into his heart and slowly start to break down within it.

For a full minute, all it did was to break itself into billions of tiny particles and cause his heart to be filled to the brim with golden tinged blood.

And then, thereafter, it started to flow out of his heart along with his blood and settled itself in every tiny corner of his body, including his brain.

Elliot couldn’t help but gulp lightly in anticipation.

What exactly was that golden particle, and what would it do to his already ridiculously souped up body?

He got his answer almost as soon as the question appeared in his mind.

As soon as every single cell in his body was permeated with the golden particles, they started to shine lightly!

All at once, his cells were infused with a catalytic energy that penetrated into their fabric of being and caused them to strengthen themselves according to the most primordial gene codes hidden deep within their DNA!

CRACK!!!!

His draconic body strengthened all at once by one full grade. His organs, his bones, his muscles, his brain, all of them advanced in strength and in quality at the same time!

A startling sense of clarity filled his mind, and his muscles felt like they just woke up from being cramped for a long time!

But before he could even exult in the power up…

CRACK!!!

Everything strengthened itself once more!!

It was as though the previous upgrade, startling and wonderful as it was, was merely him dipping his feet into a swimming pool. The second upgrade was like him finally taking the plunge into the pool on a searing hot day!

Pleasure!

Power!

His previous version seemed as though it was chock full of lethargy which was finally gone!

“AWESO-“

CRACK!!!

Elliot was completely flabbergasted.

“What is happening? Did that golden vial kill me and send me to heaven? Oh my goodness! Was I an undead skeleton previously who can’t feel anything? Was I…”

CRACK!!!!

“UUUWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” Elliot could only let out a wordless cry of bliss in his mind! If it was him before the upgrade, experiencing such a bliss would definitely cause him to become speechless.

But the upgrade he got in his brain caused it to go into overdrive, and he was completely brimming with words and eloquence!

“A table! No! A rock! I was a rock!! I was but a tiny, senseless rock without the ability to see or feel or move! And now, I am finally transformed into a life form! Ahhhh clarity! Everything is so clear now… I know! I know so many things! And BY THE GODS!

I AM STRONG!!!

UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!”

But along with clarity, strength and the myriad of upgrades, also came self-control.

The reason why the Primals, including Primal Lilian, could not detect Elliot’s bloodline pressure was because of his airtight control!

Nothing was being leaked out of his body, not an ounce of power, not a glimpse of weakness, and definitely not an iota of energy.

Primal Lilian looked at the extremely calm Elliot who was not showing a single bit of change in his aura or bloodline pressure being emitted, and she worried.

“My blood essence has no effect on him?” She thought with great alarm.

If the the other Primals knew that Primal Lilian had just given the three kids her precious Blood Essence which would require at least a thousand years of accumulation to form even a single drop, they would all probably spurt out blood in complete distress.

Primal Lilian’s concentrated blood could already command entire empires to be traded!

Her blood essence… The Primals would capture each other and sell them to Primal Lilian as pets in a heartbeat in exchange for that blood essence!

“I’ve already given them three thousand years of my accumulation… Should I give him another blood essence? That’s extremely excessive… But how could I live knowing that my first gift for him as his teacher had absolutely no effect whatsoever?” Primal Lilian thought with deep consternation.

She had no idea that her blood essence had caused Elliot to power up three full times, and had made him many times more powerful than before!

In fact, he probably could go toe to toe with the weakest of Primals already! Provided they do not use the power of fates against him, of course.

“What should I do? And just what in the world is his bloodline grade anyway? How could my blood essence have no effect?” Primal Lilian’s mind whirred at high speed. She glanced at Jessica and Jennifer, and her heart calmed down a little.

“At least this family aren’t all freaks. His sisters are advancing very, very smoothly. In fact, my blood essence should be able to purify their bloodline and revert them to the peak of Spiritual Grade anytime now.” Primal Lilian comforted herself by looking at the two girls in satisfaction.

Her smile grew wider and wider as the bloodline pressure they were emitting grew closer and closer to the purest and most powerful of Spiritual Grade, like hers.

“Hahahaha! My blood essence truly is powerful! From mere Epic and Origin Grade, all the way to Peak Spiritual Grade!” Primal Lilian thought proudly in her mind. “Nothing short of miraculous! Well done girls, well done!”

She stretched out her hand to pat their heads fondly.

However, her smile suddenly and very drastically turned to shock!!

“WHAT??” She was so shocked that she actually shouted out loud!

And at her shout, every single Primal stood up in alarm, and cast every single bit of their powerful sense to her location!

“WHAT?!?! IMPOSSIBLE!!”

“IMPOSSIBLE!! NO WAY!!”

“F***! WHAT THE HELL???”

WHOOSH!

A powerful dome of mysterious energy immediately surrounded Primal Lilian and the rest!

Primal Alexander had unleashed the most powerful barrier he could the second he realized what happened.

Blink! Blink! Blink!

Primal Lilian’s faction and her allies blinked and stood guard around the dome.

The impossible had happened!

The two girls just exceeded Spiritual Grade, and into Prehistoric Grade!!
