Speed Is King

Elliot disappeared from his position and appeared behind Divine Fighter who was unleashing yet another devastating attack at Elliot’s previous position, catching him completely by surprise.

By the time Divine Fighter sensed Elliot behind him, it was far too late for him to dodge or even block. He had no choice but to brace himself and eat Elliot’s powerful attack in a state of complete vulnerability!

Elliot’s single handed slash harnessed the power of nature and transformed it into a swirling mass of wind blades that could easily shred even the fattest and strongest Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher into shreds! The red dragon energy above him began to slowly uncoil as it showed clear signs of waking up.

All of that power smashed onto Divine Fighter’s body with incredible force.

B O O O O O M ! ! ! !

However, Elliot couldn’t help but frown deeply. He could sense that his attack had not penetrated Divine Fighter’s armor.

“Impossible!!” Elliot thought in shock as he stared at Gilgamar’s razor sharp sword edge being held at bay by a thin veneer of black substance that had covered Divine Fighter’s neck.

Just like Fat Wall earlier, Divine Fighter’s body had turned completely black!

The black substance was a powerful armor of sorts that covered him completely, leaving only his face untouched.

And at that moment, a deeply ominous feeling, much stronger than that which emanated from Fat Wall descended upon Elliot. His instincts screamed as though he was a weak little toddler meeting a ravenous man-eating tiger face to face!

Without hesitation, Elliot immediately cast blink and teleported himself away!

Schleb!!

Right in the nick of time.

Divine Fighter’s black “armor” had released countless sharp spikes that would have definitely stabbed Elliot had he not blinked away.

“You’re very, very impressive.” A flat and emotionless voice very much unlike Divine Fighter’s voice sounded from him.

“What the hell?! Did something take over his body? Why is the aura he’s giving out completely different?” Elliot thought as his anger continued to blaze in his heart. Fire coursed through his veins as his close shave with death released all the deep-seated fury present in his very unstable mental state almost completely.

“To think you are in possession of one of the most valued skills of the Void Walkers. They must consider you a valuable chess piece… You’ll make a perfect addition to my collection!” Divine Fighter rasped with a clear trace of excitement appearing in his flat voice.

“Collection? What are you, a perverted toy collector?” Elliot spat as he studied Divine Fighter intently, trying to figure out his weakness. Despite his anger, Elliot was still very much in control of himself.

He was not a beast that would surrender his will to his emotions and merely fight blindly. No, he was in full control of his anger, like a skilled rider atop a mighty raging beast. He would unleash its power as and when he chose to. Not a moment before.

And he knew at that moment that he couldn’t unleash the beast yet. No, he needed a way to break past Divine Fighter’s powerful black armor first.

“Yes. I am a “toy” collector of sorts.” The strange and not very Divine Fighter-ish being said. “Boy, your luck is off the charts. Since you’re about to die, I will tell you my secret. I have received a secret transformation from my Second Brother. And the secret transformation that I got was…Dark Necromancer! HAHAHA!

Today, I will bestow you a great honor by making you one of my Forsaken Warriors!” With that, Divine Fighter spread his arms wide open and let out a ghastly scream!

RAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHRRR!!!

Immediately, space around him began to splinter and crack!

From the cracks, appendages of all sorts began to slither out. Tentacles, hands, claws, feelers, exoskeletons, paws and even slimes all appeared out of the growing number of cracks. They were all black in color, and looked extremely creepy. And disgusting.

Elliot looked at the huge number of strange beasts starting to appear before him and was slightly surprised to sense that almost all of them were at the Lord level!

And there were even a few at the King level!

“Dark Necromancer huh? So he could summon beasts as well. He’s a pretty strong counter to my Beast Master. But if he thinks that this paltry force could deal with me, he’s one sorry and mistaken bastard!” Elliot thought in his mind.

“What a dufus! You actually want to fight me using numbers?” Elliot laughed. “Of all the secret transformations you could receive from your dumbass second brother, you actually received a summoner type mage transformation? HA!”

“Fight? No. I am not going to fight you. I am going to capture you! You’re mine. Accept your fate and come take your place within the ranks of my Forsaken Warriors.” Divine Fighter intoned.

“Capture me? You’re horrendously overestimating yourself. You think you’re the only one with an army?” Elliot sneered.

He raised Gilgamar and pointed it straight at Divine Fighter.

“ALL OF YOU! GET THE HELL OVER HERE NOW AND KILL THIS BASTARD FOR ME!!” Elliot roared as his fury suddenly exploded like a powerful bomb blast!

“The black armor can wait! Let me take care of his damned beasts first!” Elliot thought.

Immediately, a huge swath of space around him shimmered as summoned beasts, tamed beasts, and all of his Beast Apostles answered his call.

Elliot Musk of Earth was officially unleashing his full power as a Beast Master at that moment.

Wolves. Hawks. Tigers. Lions. Elephants. Mammoths. Three headed dogs. Golems. Plant demons. Moles. Bears. Kaijins. Primal Felines. Monkeys. Birds.

All of his beasts materialized around him in a mighty air!

And at that moment, the red dragon energy above him finally opened its eyes as well.

As if they planned it beforehand, the red dragon and all of his beasts suddenly let out a collective roar that was so loud it shook the entire area!
