Speed Is King

Elliot’s flying speed was extremely fast, and with his skill “Charge”, he was totally unbeatable in the skies.

The Specter Wolves were no exception. They tried their best to chase after Elliot, but could only watch helplessly as Elliot steadily extended his lead.

However, much to their surprise and delight, Elliot suddenly slowed down and dived down towards the ground!

“Gogogo!” The lead Specter Wolf howled at his pack. “Dive down as well and kill him! How dare he attack second brother!”

“Yes big brother!” Third and Fourth brother replied immediately.

“And I could faintly smell a trace of Death Mark on him. He must have killed one of our brothers physically.” Third brother growled.

“He must die today! At all costs!” Fourth brother snarled.

“For the Wyrm Empire!” The lead Specter Wolf howled as all three dived down after Elliot.

“For the Wyrm Empire!!” His brothers howled as well.

All three Specter Wolves shot towards Elliot who was firing several Ice Beams at the biggest Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher. However, the Belcher had no intention to engage in battle as it seemed rather content in cleaning up the remains of the massive Kings around the area.

Besides, the Belcher’s armor was much too thick, and his Ice Beams weren’t having any effects on it!

“What the hell is he doing?” Third brother yelled.

“He’s suicidal. Let’s kill him first before the Belchers get him.” Fourth brother snarled with extreme bloodlust.

“Get to it! The Belchers are not infested. They won’t cooperate with us!” The lead Specter Wolf shouted.

GRAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

One of the smaller Corrupted Sedgedoom Belchers finally reacted to Elliot after he fired off a powerful Azure Lightning Blast at it.

It turned its massive frontal opening at Elliot and shot out with surprisingly devastating speed!

However, Elliot was expecting its attack, and had angled his position so he was in front of the rapidly approaching Specter Wolves. As the Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher attacked, he immediately dodged!

“DAMN IT! THAT SNEAKY WHITE DRAGON! DODGE! DODGE!!” The lead Specter Wolf howled as he swerved sharply to the right to avoid the Belcher.

The other two Specter Wolves swerved to the left and easily avoided the Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher’s attack as it shot past them.

FLAP!

Thankfully for the wolves, the fan wasn’t that wide, and its sudden appearance merely gave them a shock without doing any damage at all.

“Be careful brothers. These Belchers are corrupted and have many mutations.” The lead Specter Wolf warned his brothers. “Let’s end this battle quickly. Flame Slash on three. Two. Strike!”

At his command, all three of them immediately shot towards the area near the Belcher’s fan which functioned as its neck. Their sharp claws and teeth began to glow a fearsome orange as flames spurted out of their paws.

“TAKE THIS!” The lead Specter Wolf snarled as all four of his paws sank into the Belcher’s neck.

Flaming Feral Bite!

He bit down powerfully with his giant maw as well!

His superheated claws and teeth were so effective against armor that they pierced through its thick armor and immediately found flesh.

GRAAAHHHHH!!!!

The Belcher roared out in pain as the wolves savagely ripped out great chunks of flesh from its neck area. Thick, gooey blood began to slowly but steadily flow out of the Belcher’s wounds in copious amounts as the wolves continued their manic attacks on the Belcher.

Within a short minute, the Belcher gave out one last groan and then collapsed onto the ground, dead.

AWOOOOOOO!!!!

The three wolves gave out victorious howls as they took down yet another victim, and an extremely powerful one at that.

However, Elliot wasn’t just hanging around watching the wolves as they took down the Belcher.

He was hard at work, firing Ice Beam after Ice Beam at the largest Belcher’s critical areas before finally succeeding in scoring a direct hit into one of its eyes, freezing it completely.

The Belcher had immediately roared out in pain and reared up angrily as he left the pleasurable task of munching on the dead Centipede’s long and delicious body.

It turned its head to search for the blasted attacker, and caught sight of the three wolves howling triumphantly over the dead carcass of his son!

“How dare they kill my son and blind me?!” Furious thoughts began to fill the largest Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher’s mind, who, apparently, happened to be the other two Belcher’s father.

The fact that for the wolves to kill his son AND blind him at the same time was a physical impossibility did not cross his mind at all.

“Die!!” The Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher screamed in his mind.

He released a freakishly long tongue which shot out at great speed and pierced the third wolf’s head like a hot stick through butter.

Once through, the tongue’s tip suddenly burst open like an umbrella and took the third Specter Wolf along with it as it retracted back into the largest Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher’s front opening, leaving the other two wolves to stare at their brother in horror as he disappeared into the Belcher’s mouth.

“One down! Two to goE AND HELP ME YOU USELESS PUNK!” The largest Belcher roared out to his other son who was contentedly munching on the remains of the freaky woman.

“Huh? Later. I’m eating, don’t bother me.” The other Belcher grunted and ignored his father.

“YOU PUNK! I’LL EAT YOU AFTER I DEAL WITH THESE PESTS!” The Belcher daddy cursed at his son furiously.

His son ignored him completely and continued munching on the half eaten freaky woman happily.

Belcher daddy turned his attention to the two Specter Wolves.

However, the two wolves had already taken to the skies and were keeping their distance from him.

There was no way for the Belcher daddy to reach them. Not even with his absurdly long tongue!

But all was not lost for the Belcher daddy!
