Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 616 Divine Shackles Of Lightning

Chapter 616 Divine Shackles Of Lightning

"Just fuck off, you weak piece of shit!"

Damien\'s cutting words were like a burst of thunder that exploded beside Larkin\'s ears, making him wonder if he even heard him right. Even the other eleven experts behind him had a look of disbelief.

But how could a powerful man like him hear anything wrong and instead realized that this ignorant junior had the galls to even call him a \'weak piece of shit!\'

Not even in his nightmares had he heard anyone call him this, nor did he ever imagine that someone of his position and power would ever have to hear this from the mouth of a bra.

"YOU! Let me hear you say that again!" Larkin roared as the aura of a war veteran flooded for more than a few kilometers and was about to cast a powerful sphere of water barrier that was as solid as an iron fortress even though it was made of ethereal water.

Larkin still didn\'t lose his reason out of anger and knew that his emperor didn\'t want to kill Damien right away nor attack him in such a way that it could hurt the two girls.

So all he could do was make sure Damien got trapped within his sphere, and the rest was child\'s play. He still was feeling a bit aggrieved that he had to personally stop this little bastard and even hear insults from him.

Lily became worried seeing such a powerful expert standing right in front of Damien. She was even more worried since Larkin\'s cultivation was in the Profound Ethereal Realm, a realm that had a qualitative jump over the Heaven Ethereal Realm, and she didn\'t know how exactly Damien could get rid of him.

But right before Larkin was about to concentrate his ethereal energy and execute his ethereal arts, Damien suddenly raised his palm as he shouted in his head, \'Divine Shackles of Lightning!\'

His eyes crackled with jet black lightning streaks as multiple jet black lightning chains in the shape of bolts shot out of his palm. All of these lightning \'chains\' wrapped around a shocked Larkin, who suddenly realized that all the ethereal water energy he had gathered suddenly got scattered and instead caused a serious internal backlash for no reason!

"Hrghh!" Larkin coughed out blood as his expression became pale upon realizing that he was unable to even gather a wisp of his ethereal energy. It was more like his ethereal energy was afraid to come out of his ethereal core, afraid of the chilling lightning chains wrapped around his body.

What the hell was this? How could these strange chains incapacitate me? How could I get hurt from the attacks of a junior?...Larkin had to question his sanity twice to make sure what he was experiencing was real indeed since it just didn\'t make sense.

But the pain and agony rippling and crackling through his body was enough proof for him to know that his mind wasn\'t cooking this up.

Lily was astonished and relieved to see that not even Larkin was a match for Damien. This made her wonder how strong Damien truly was. How did he become powerful so fast to the point he could even render a Low-Level Profound Ethereal Realm cultivator powerless?

Even the people down below who saw this had their jaws slack with a stupefied look. Was this really an 18-year-old boy or an old monster in a boy\'s skin?

Most of them knew who Larkin was, especially due to the grand golden-red robes he was wearing that only those in the Profound Ethereal Realm in the Xeton Empire could wear.

And seeing him being rendered into a powerless state so easily was just too shocking.

Ruthren was the one who felt a grave sense of danger upon seeing one of his most powerful generals being rendered powerless. He felt threatened even though he knew that he was still the strongest one on the continent.

But even if he hated to admit it, he knew that if Damien\'s mind-boggling progress over the past two years were to continue for a couple more years, then he might probably overpower him and become the strongest one on this continent.

And the fact that he saw Damien using ethereal ice arts only made him feel even more suspicious about Yohr\'s death. He knew no ordinary cultivator could suddenly gain an ethereal seed and also learn its ethereal arts to the point they can apply one or two skills. But when he thought of a possibility in his mind, his expression became grave and dark.

\'He has to die!...Ruthren\'s determination to annihilate Damien from the face of this world only became even stronger. Not only because he didn\'t want Damien to become stronger than him but also because he knew that Damien would try to bring him down and even humiliate him whenever he got the opportunity.

Even the eleven experts behind Larkin had their mouths fall open, but they hadn\'t forgotten what they came here for and quickly executed their offensive arts in haste since they knew Damien\'s speed was on a different level.

And since they were experts, they cast attacks that were precise and in a way that would definitely strike Damien\'s body only even if they had to put in all their focus.

Damien snorted as he saw the eleven experts charging up their attacks. This time Lily wasn\'t feeling that worried. Not because these eleven experts weren\'t individually stronger than Larkin but because she could feel the aura of confidence emanating from his body, making her feel assured that this was not a problem for him.

The eleven experts had just seen how Larkin got immobilized. But even then, can Damien really be able to stop the power of their combined attacks? It would definitely be even harder than him dealing with Larkin.

However, Damien smirked as he stabbed a  helpless Larkin\'s chest, making him look at Damien with a look of disbelief. But as if that was not enough, Damien smashed his face, making his cheek skin before Larkin fell down like a broken kite, his death quite imminent.

All this happened at the same time as the attacks from the eleven experts shot right toward Damien, who narrowed his eyes when he saw these attacks all converging on him.
