Chapter 169 What did you do?
Little Melon raised his head to his father and pouted before he turned away and stood up without saying anything. He started walking towards the door. He took his shoes from the shoe rack and wore it.
The little boy was quiet. After wearing his shoes, he stood up and turned to his father as if he was waiting for him.
Receiving this treatment from Little Melon, Lu Yifeng knew that his son was angry at him for some reason. Was it because he stole Xia Meilin’s time? Oh well, Lu Yifeng doesn’t really care about it. He was in a good mood so he was not going to allow his son to spoil it.
"Wait there." Lu Yifeng said before he returned to his room.
Just as what he told Little Melon, Xia Meilin was fast asleep after she was given a warm bath by her husband. She was hugging a pillow and the blanket was until her shoulders as she slept peacefully.
Lu Yifeng returned his towel in the bathroom before he went to the closet to get a thick coat for him and his son.
He took his wallet before he left the room, not making a sound since he didn’t want her to wake up.
Lu Yifeng walked to his son and gave his thick winter coat.
After wearing the coats, the father and son duo went out of the suite.
Throughout their time together, Lu Yifeng and Little Melon didn’t say a word. Because of this, Little Melon was more determined not to talk to his father.
Although, while they were walking, Little Melon saw a beautiful music box from a shop’s window; it was a small horse carousel hinge trinket music box. He touched the window and stared at it for a while. It would be nice if he can buy it and give it to Yong Xiao Yao as a gift.
When Lu Yifeng took a glance at his side to look at Little Melon, he was gone from his side. He turned and looked at his back only to see him staring at something.
"Xiao Gua." Lu Yifeng called.
Little Melon didn’t move. He continued to stare at the music box.
Because of this, Lu Yifeng went to him and looked at what Little Melon was looking at. He noticed that he was looking at the music box. He looked at the store’s name and it was an antique store.
Why would Little Melon want a girly item like that? "Xiao Gua, let’s go."
Little Melon raised his head to look at him. He was looking at him as if he wanted to really buy the item.
Since Little Melon wasn’t talking to him, he decided to act like he didn’t know what Little Melon was wanting. "Let’s go." He turned away and started walking ahead.
Little Melon pursed his lips and lowered his head before he started following his father with a sad face.
If Little Melon spoke to him, Lu Yifeng was willing to buy it but since the little boy didn’t say a thing, he decided not to have it. He took out his phone and sent a message to Su Lei instead.
When they returned to their suite, Lu Yifeng placed the food on the table before he went to the room to wake his wife up.
"Let me sleep some more, Yifeng..." She whispered sleepily as she slapped his hand away.
He sighed. "You can’t skip a meal, Meilin. The twins need to eat."
Xia Meilin let out a groan. She squinted her eyes open and looked at him. She moved and rested her head on his lap. "I’m tired."
"Meilin."
Xia Meilin pouted at him. She sat down and sighed. "Fine, fine."
Lu Yifeng assisted her on walking toward the dining room.
Little Melon was sitting quietly on a chair while hugging his his cat plushy. His lips were pursed cutely and he looked like he was sulking.
Xia Meilin was able to notice how different Little Melon was just by looking at him and because of this, she couldn’t help but ask him when she sat on the chair that was beside him, "Baby, what’s wrong?"
Little Melon raised his head and looked at her with tearful eyes. He got off from his seat and went to hug her tummy. "Momma..."
"Xiao Gua, what’s wrong?" Xia Meilin asked worriedly. Did something happen while she was asleep?
"Dada bullied Mello!"
Lu Yifeng raised a brow when he heard what Little Melon said. Bullied? When did he bully his son?
Xia Meilin instantly shot her head up and glared at Lu Yifeng. "What did you do?"
Lu Yifeng shrugged his shoulders. "I didn’t do anything to him."
Little Melon burst out in tears and started crying out loud. "Momma! Dada is mean!"
