Chapter 822 Seeker Of Mysteries
But an instant later, his eyes regained clarity of mind as the water surrounding him vaporised. His figure took flight as gradually, a magic circle manifested behind him, one that gradually grew in size to form a parent magic circle while more than a billion magic circles appeared all around it.
The space turned viscous, making it feel like everyone was moving through the ground, barely able to move past the soil blocking their way, when in truth, they were above ground.
Compass Carburettor aimed his Spirit Morph at the closest magic circle, shocked upon seeing his ability getting deflected, \'What…is this power?\'
"So, the Genre Representatives weren\'t just idling all along. They too have created an ultimate power." The Regression System was alarmed as it glanced at the Apocalypse System, nodding simultaneously as all the Systems began to grow in strength.
They no longer held back but recalled all their fragments scattered in the tens of thousands of worlds they were in the process of conquering and had already conquered.
For a moment, all the Hunters in a Hunter World fell asleep as even the world itself went into a state of stasis, no longer operating like usual. The bodies of all the Hunters turned weak as the Hunter System fragments in them vanished, heading to the System World as a stream of starlight.
Following that, they descended onto this battlefield, raining down starlight that was absorbed by the Systems, causing them to become dozens of times stronger than before.
This was why Apocalypse was able to punch Magister away so easily.
But, it seemed that Magister had no plans to attack normally, for the situation was climaxing at an alarming rate. And hence, he unleashed his pinnacle form.
Genre Representation—Seeker of Mysteries!
This was an ability on par with the Core Manifestation that only Grade 3 and above Systems were capable of. Just as how a System needed to be at Grade 3 to unleash a Core Skill Manifestation, a Genre Representative should also represent a major genre to pull off a Genre Representation.
Mascot stared at Magister in silence, watching the body of the other party gradually dissolve and disappear into the surroundings. \'So, you went and did it.\'
Instantly, every single entity on the battlefield, including Zaira found themselves in a vast world, one that seemed to have devoured the essence of the apocalyptic setting to create a supernatural world, filled with ghosts and the like.
Aiee!
Faint whispers, akin to speedy winds echoed in their surroundings, one littered with houses that seemed to be inhabited by giants hundreds of metres in height. But, there was no soul in the surroundings except for the battling parties.
Compass Carburettor stared at a rock nearby, unleashing Spirit Morph on it, shocked upon seeing him take almost a minute to transform this rock that was barely the size of his head.
There wasn\'t anything special with this rock, but the fact that even something this simple took so much time meant that the rules of this world were of the highest class. And his ability, one that could once convert an entire world created by Zaira in a matter of seconds was now only able to affect a rock, and even that took a minute.
This was what a Genre Representation meant. By harnessing the power of all his worlds in full, Magister erected a superior world that had the foundation to withstand this level of battle.
Even Immortal\'s attacks that once ruptured the space now only destroyed a hill in this setting. Even the current Immortal would need to spend a lot of time, effort, and power to break out of this world.
A Secret Society member looked around in a fluster, observing that he was trapped within a courtyard, unable to leave the place irrespective of what he did.
Suddenly, he noticed his legs melting, alarmed as he unleashed his powers, only to find out that he couldn\'t detect the source, melting into a puddle in a matter of seconds. Following that, an eerie spectre flashed past in an instant before the courtyard turned silent.
\'Many of me are dying in large droves.\' Compass Carburettor thought as he was still within the safety of the truck. The one outside was just a Secret Society member disguised as himself.
A good fraction of the members had long since disguised themselves into Stencil\'s clothes, capable of protecting her from harm anytime. So, even though she was in the Invader System\'s clutches, he still had a method to save her.
\'But even if I save her now, as long as I don\'t escape from this place, she would be targeted again.\' Thinking as such, he gritted his teeth, focusing on his Dreamland with a maniacal gaze, watching the thousands of Secret Society members working rapidly to do something to the Main Character System fragment in his possession.
And for that, he had also sent out a lot of Secret Society members that braved through the dangerous terrain, amidst all odds to collect materials from the war efforts.
Suddenly, a sun manifested above the truck and slammed into it when the truck swerved to the side, going behind the Apocalypse System that was charging beside it.
This forced the Apocalypse System to tank the sun and protect Compass Carburettor. After all, held in his possession was the Tell-Tale System, one that he had wrapped around using his body, preventing it from even shouting for help, cutting off all contacts.
After all, he layered the inside of his body with the mist that turned the Tell-Tale System\'s body immobile while using Punisher Lightning as a means to destroy any Mental Energy streams it let out.
This way, he continued to shave off parts of its body, little piece by little piece while continuing to dodge the attacks.
"Zaira, take this!" The Invader System said as it clenched its hand into a fist and threw Stencil towards Zaira at speeds beyond what she could react.
Swoosh!
Stencil made a beeline towards Zaira when suddenly, a wall of bones appeared in-between, created by the magical world, covered with baleful faces that could suck in the souls of any nearby.
And the moment she approached close to it, Stencil screamed in pain as her soul began to be pulled out of her body.
