Chapter 429 The battle of the Royal Palace part 29
Sora felt Solomon’s hand on her shoulder exert a little pressure and she immediately came to her senses.
She closed her hand and the green flames disappeared instantly, she then said to Kevin : “Okay, but don’t forget your promise, I want to get rid of this head myself.”
Colin, who had been standing back all this time watching them, then opened a huge teleportation portal that was 5 times larger than the one Sora could create at full power, and everyone looked at him in amazement, their jaws dropped in shock.
Kevin glanced at Colin and Colin winked at him before saying : “It’s time to end this battle, it’s been a long night for everyone.”
Kevin nodded and he made the King’s head floated next to him using spiritual energy.
Mykael teleported next to them and smiled at Willow as he opened his arms to her.
And Willow immediately expressed her joy at seeing her grandfather by flapping her wings and making a melodious sound.
Kevin let her join Mykael who stroked her, and he looked at his sons while saying : “Well done sons, that was quick.”
Mykael then looked at Kevin and he said to him : “The way you used to get rid of their weapons will come in handy for our next battle, I will tell Miguel about it later, it was really a great move.”
He added then when Colin joined him : “Let us take care of Willow for you… Just until the end of this battle. The three of us will watch you from afar, it’s up to you now.”
After saying that, as usual, he didn’t wait for them to protest, and so Kevin looked helplessly at Axel.
But seeing Axel smiling and looking delighted, he smiled in turn because Mykael was not only a doting dad, he was also a doting grandfather.
After that he focused again his attention on all the faces around him, and he said to everyone : “Let’s go back to the Royal Palace and get it over with !”
Kevin went through the teleportation portal with Axel and the King’s head that was still floating next to them, and Sora followed them closely accompanied by Solomon, Ian and Liam.
Then the others followed them, and Erik as soon as he reached the courtyard of the Royal Palace, started to follow the thin golden thread that represented his Dual Cultivation bond with Alan, and as soon as he spotted him, he went to join him immediately.
He was really too eager to join him and anyway, Kevin and Axel didn’t need him anymore, politics would soon replace the fights and that was something he was really not interested in.
When Alan had seen that gigantic teleportation portal he had known that it could only be Kevin coming back with all the others, and he had not been wrong.
As they arrived, he looked at Erik and scanned him to make sure he wasn’t hurt, and when he saw him start to look in his direction his smile widened as he knew his man was looking for him.
And when their eyes met he saw the relief on his face and in just a few seconds he joined him and hugged him tightly, almost to the point of choking him.
Alan was delighted that the first thing Erik did when he came back here was to join him and he winked proudly at Kelan who shook his head amused at seeing them both like that.
Kelan had already joined him a while ago because since their father was with Derek, Kerry and their respective best men, he was safe.
And since Nolan was with Erik away fighting the Titans and the men of these Goddesses and that he couldn’t join them, he had decided to come and protect him with his men while he was taking care of the wounded.
Kelan had really been amazed by his little brother’s efficiency, and he had already complimented him on his amazing work.
Alan, who was doing a truly remarkable job, had saved countless lives and thanks to him there had been almost no deaths on their side.
His father told him that as soon as the fighting had started and Erik had gone to fight with the best of them in another dimension to avoid collateral damage as much as possible, Alan had joined him and Kerry and he had told them that he wanted to take care of the wounded.
So they had quickly created an area in the Royal Palace courtyard where he could treat the wounded and this area had been constantly protected either by his father’s soldiers or by demons and now it was him with his men who were protecting him.
He couldn’t help but be worried for his little brother that he had just found back and as Alan was feeling safer under his protection he could better focus on treating the wounded.
Alan had been working very hard, ever since his father and Kerry had created this special area to treat all the wounded, the flow of people coming for treatment had never diminished.
In addition to those who came here on their own, all the seriously injured, whether human or demon, were brought here, and Alan had to adapt very quickly to this situation and organize himself to be as efficient as possible.
He soon realized that the potions Kevin had given him would not be enough, so he decided to keep all the healing potions regardless of their grade to heal in priority the demons, because the demons could not be healed by light particles.
But then he was quickly confronted with another problem, and that was that he could only treat wounds that were visible to the naked eye and not those that were internal.
So he also had to use healing potions for anyone who had internal wounds because it was beyond his skill to use the light particles to treat them.
This was his first time on a real battlefield and he was doing his best, but sometimes he had felt a little overwhelmed, and using the light particles in such large quantities and practically without taking any rest had been very exhausting for him.
