Chapter 56 Omnivision
The vision that Lei Zhen changed was called Omnivision.
Omnivision allows the player to change their field of vision from a physical object to an imaginary object. In other words, players could sense mana and its direction by changing to Omnivision mode.
Of course, such methods were uncommon for the average players because they didn\'t have the use for them.
However, for the top players and pros, Omnivision is a crucial factor in advancing and creating a strategy.
Though it was extremely difficult to master because there is one major flaw with this Omnivision.
\'Goddamn it, my eyes feel like they\'re burning and the world seems to be going in a circle.\' Lei Zhen was turning nauseous and dizzy from the usage of Omnivision.
\'No wonder why Qiaolian warned me about changing the mode of vision. It\'s like I\'ve been embroiled in some sort of kaleidoscope.\' He could barely retain his balance and walk properly.
Although he was able to sense mana flowing now, there was actually a bunch of mana bands interactive, almost like there was a bunch of DNA meshed up together.
Mana flow bands were everywhere and it was difficult to spot the correct one that was connected to the summoning of the monsters.
If it weren\'t for the fact that he had studied DNA bands before and seen a similar situation already, then he would have most likely passed out cold.
"Qiaolian said summoning monsters required a constant stream of mana to supply the artificial monsters, so they tend to be a bit more saturated and dense compared to other mana bands." He muttered, searching for the most saturated band.
Alas, almost all mana was similar in saturation, mainly thanks to Kate\'s constant surge of skill usage.
After searching for another few seconds, Lei Zhen decided to follow one particular mana band. Unlike the other mana band, this one is particularly darker in color and seemed to ooze a bad vibe energy.
Instinct tells him that it should belong to the mysterious man since he had felt something similar when he was casting the Lightning Cosmo Domain.
\'Let\'s just gamble this. If I delay any longer, then Kate will die.\' Time was urgent and he could only take a gamble for once.
Even though he hated relying on probability, he could only risk it. And sure enough, the closer he gets, the more monsters he encounters.
The monsters were all running toward the center, and occasionally, some of them would spot Lei Zhen.
However, none of them bothered to hinder his movement and simply treated him like a fly.
This was most likely because the mysterious man did not expect a low-level player would try to thwart his plan.
Though this was supposed to be a blessing for Lei Zhen, he couldn\'t help but feel a tinge of bitterness in his mouth.
Being looked down upon by this much, even a saint would be mad by now.
\'Am I really this unworthy of your attention?\' He screamed internally, gritting his teeth to keep his composure.
"I\'ll make you pay dearly for neglecting me." He muttered, treading closer and closer to the summoning location.
Sometime later, Lei Zhen finally saw the summoning location and hurriedly turned off Omnivision.
He then closed his eyes and rubbed them a few times before opening them, finally seeing the normal scenery. It was like a breath of fresh air when he finally got rid of the Omnivision.
pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ \'I swear to god, why did they make this Omnivision such a painful experience?\' He questioned the motive for such a feature, but no one would answer him.
Shaking his head to cool down, Lei Zhen narrowed his eyes at the large formation-like circle that kept spawning monsters. The process doesn\'t seem to be fast as it took a few blinking lights before wolves-like monsters came out.
Unlike the Frenzied Wolf that Lei Zhen encountered, each wolf-like monster had an infinity symbol sign on its leg and was ferocious.
They did not have the trait of caution or awareness that a Frenzied Wolf would have. All they had was a motive and nothing else on their mind.
If words could describe their behavior, it would be monsters without their consciousness. In simple terms, it means they are monsters without a soul on them, their purpose is just to kill Kate and nothing else.
\'Time to follow Qiaolian\'s instruction to destroy such inhumane summoning.\' Lei Zhen thought.
The reply that Tang Qiaolian gave him was extremely thorough. She explained to him the method of tracing and how to get rid of it without the use of violence.
Probably because she knew Lei Zhen had no attacking skill or doubt he was powerful enough to destroy the summoning process alone. Hence, the instruction she gave was simple but extremely tedious.
Each summoning had a link to four different areas, and by tampering with all four areas, the link to the summon would be distorted and crippled by itself over time without the link.
To spot the link, Lei Zhen needed to trace the formation line at its source. Thus, he quickly found some bushes nearby and used them to camouflage himself.
Although the monsters never bothered with him, who was to say they wouldn\'t attack him when he got close to the source of summoning?
He doubted the mysterious man would be brainless enough to not put up any defense mechanisms on the summoning even if he was confident in his ability.
With his body covered in grasses, Lei Zhen slowly took a detour as he approached the source.
Of course, he didn\'t need to be directly in it since he just needed to see traces of the link that was laid on the ground.
\'That\'s one link, the second link, and the third link. But where\'s the last link?\' Lei Zhen located three links in total, but couldn\'t spot the final link.
Unable to find the final link, he had no choice but to utilize Omnivison again to check the flow of mana.
This time, he was on the verge of vomiting and stumbled to the ground.
\'I hate this damn feature…\' He covered his mouth and held the urge to vomit.
Tang Qiaolian warned him not to overuse this feature since even pros take years to slowly get used to it, and even then, they still can\'t utilize the feature completely.
"Mysterious man, you\'re unlucky because I found the last link that you tried to hide." Lei Zhen smiled sinisterly once he recovered his condition.
