Inside the royal palace of the kingdom of Marer, Ralf made his way to his room. He had been thinking about what transpired yesterday.

Before the duel, Ralf thought his warrior maid would most likely kick the ass of that old crook in a minute, and that was the only reason he had agreed to the duel. But he never expected that the doctor would be so shrewd. He had been preparing that explosive liquid ever since he entered the palace, just for the sake of this duel.

"Hah, well, anything for the throne," Ralf sighed, even though it hurt whenever he thought about that old man drilling his dear maid, but to make the king leave this world, it was the only possible solution.

Then he thought about calling a few maids into his room tonight, and Ralf\'s mood brightened up. He shouldn\'t be stressing too much about these things.

Slightly whistling about a song, he had heard on Earth, Ralf was about to move when a shadow appeared behind his back.

"Hmm..." Feeling the presence, Ralf instantly turned around and saw a lady standing silently behind him. Her long black hair fell over her shoulders, and a long-netted dress reminded Ralf of the maid cosplayers on Earth. Even though the dress concealed the things Ralf wanted to see, he could still imagine her heavenly body just by looking at her hourglass body, huge breasts, and perky buttocks.

The lady had a stoic expression on her face, completely unfazed by Ralf\'s eyes, which were practically taking an X-ray scan of her body. In her hands was a long white slate enclosed in a strange frame that was covered in mysterious engravings.

"What do you need?" Finally done with his research, Ralf asked calmly.

But the lady didn\'t reply, she just kept staring at him, silently, without any change in expression.

Ralf "..."

The two kept staring at each other for a minute, but when the silence was becoming unbearable for Ralf, the lady finally moved her black pupils and looked down.

"What…" Ralf was utterly confused by this lady, following her gaze, he turned to look down, and …. then he saw it.

On the white, slate that the lady held in her arms, a few words had surfaced dyed black.

They read; \'Queen Eirwen has summoned you. \'

\'What\'s with these words? And Queen Eirwen, Cedric\'s mother…. why has that bitch summoned me!\'

If anyone in the kingdom of Marer deserved to be called a bitch, then it was Queen Eirwen, just like her son, she was extremely shrewd.

Unlike other queens who were renowned for their high cultivation realms, she didn\'t have any talent for cultivation and could be considered trash…just like Ralf.

But contrary to the military might, her big brain had earned her a seat in the Royal Council of the Kingdom. The tax system, law and order, and military placement, most of them were modernised by her and Ralf had to say that it was sometimes even better than those he had heard of on earth or maybe not… he was just too lost in smut to observe such things.

But all in all, she was a shrewd fox!

Ralf looked at the lady and asked hesitantly "Right now?"

But again, the lady didn\'t say anything.

Ralf looked down and saw new words on the white slate: "Yes."

\'Is she mute? This is so weird\' Ralf thought in his heart but didn\'t say that aloud. He flashed a sweet smile and said, "All right, then take me there."

\'Come with me\' The words changed into new ones, and the lady immediately turned around and started walking away.

Ralf glanced at her huge hips, which swayed dangerously, and drooled slightly, but then shook his head and started following.

\'Well, I can do it without hearing the moans!\'

In the centre of a huge hall, a long dark red table was placed, seemingly for debates, and around it were empty chairs, but on one of them sat a lady in a long silk dress. Her long grey hair was tied into a bun at the back, giving her a sharp and refined look. The lady\'s gaze was fixed on the documents placed in front, and her delicate brows seemed to frown and then relax occasionally.

Knock!

Suddenly, a knock resounded, and without averting her gaze, the lady said in a serene voice, "Come in."

Following her voice, the lady with the slate and Ralf entered the hall.

\'So, this is where all the debates are held\' Ralf mused as he gazed at the long table. For him to be crowned as the next king, the approval of most of the royal council was necessary, and right now, they favour his cousin, Cedric Crest. One of the reasons was this grey-haired lady, Eirwen Crest. Being a member of the royal council, she had slowly manipulated the whole council to think that her son was the best candidate for the throne of Marer.

At this moment, Eirwen Crest shifted her gaze from the documents to the two that had entered the hall, and a smile appeared on her face as she said, "How are you, Prince Calf?"

"It\'s Ralf," Ralf corrected immediately with a stiff smile on his face, knowing very well that with her sharp brain, there was no way she had mistaken his name.

Eirwen raised her brows in surprise, then shook her head afterwards, saying, "Oh, forgive me, with so much work to do, it is very difficult to remember the names of insignificant people."

\'Bullshit!\' Ralf cursed in his heart but decided to bear it for a while and then asked: "You called for me?"

Listening to him, Eirwen nodded lightly and then stood up from the chair. Her silk dress perfectly outlined her motherly figure, and Ralf couldn\'t help but gulp involuntarily. She walked to the nearby window, completely displaying her huge butt, which was even difficult for the cloth to hold in. Then, gazing out into the south, where a dense forest was visible, she said with a sigh, "I want you to investigate Cedric, tell me what he\'s up to and what is his relationship with that warrior, Titania."

\'Titania, Damean\'s mother, what is he up to?\' Ralf thought in his heart, he knew that his brother was up to something ever since his father had fallen ill, but he never thought it involved that cold warrior Titania, as far as he knew, she only cared about combat.

\'What if he roped her in? That would be troublesome. No, I absolutely cannot allow that\' A slew of thoughts appeared in his mind. Ralf contemplated them for a while and then said

"What do you mean by investigating? Can\'t anyone else do that?"

Being a member of the royal council, she for sure had people who were perfect for these jobs, why would she need him?

"No." Eirwen simply shook her head and didn\'t explain why.

At this moment, Eirwen retracted her gaze from the forest and looked at Ralf. "Besides, aren\'t you fighting for the throne? You should be more worried. What if he convinced that lady to support her?"

"Hehe, don\'t worry about the throne, are you worried that she would steal your son from you?" Ralf chuckled lightly.

Listening to Ralf, Eirwen snorted lightly but didn\'t refute.

Ever since she was born, Eirwen has never been able to cultivate. This made her naturally jealous of others who had an innate gift of cultivation, and one of them was her fellow queen, Titania. Her heart burned whenever she heard the praises of her feats, which she could never achieve in her life.

Thus, when she came to know that Titania had accepted her son as one of her disciples, she was worried about her son being bewitched by her. Cedric was her only chance of coming into power and ruling this kingdom.

She couldn\'t lose him!

"I will look at what he\'s up to." At this moment, Ralf\'s voice reached into her ears.

Eirwen\'s brows rose in surprise. \'What happened to him?\'

But Ralf wasn\'t done, he turned to look at the lady dressed in black who held a slate in her hands and said with a grin on his face, "But it will require a payment."

"Oh," Eirwen\'s eyes moved from Ralf to the lady and then back to him.

Then she shook her head in disappointment and waved her hand.

"Whatever"
