The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 90

Seeing Kyle seemed to be staring at the bookcase in front of them, Kate was bewildered. She wondered just what happened that made Kyle being so annoyed like this?

Kyle snapped back and rubbed Kate’s head. “Let’s go to my father’s house.”

“Meow.”

As they walked out, Kyle was silently thinking about that short scene for a moment. Just when he felt that his emotion was going to go awry, the soft meowing seemed to wake him up.

This little cat is indeed very special.

The location of his father’s house from the military base was not that far, but it was more convenient to use car. Thus, the two of them entered the car and then headed to the general’s house.

Upon seeing the house, Kate was silent.

She turned to look at Kyle.

.....

This is your father’s house?

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Kyle patted Kate’s head and alighted. He picked Kate up conveniently. “Come on.”

Kate was silent.

The house was as high tech as Kyle’s house, but wasn’t this house looked so ordinary? So ordinary that even she thought that this house belonged to someone who was not so rich like Kyle.

“Meow!”

“What is it?”

“Meow!”

Kyle was confused as to why this little cat suddenly acted out. However, he continued to walk and put his fingerprints at the scanner, which allowed the door to open automatically.

As they entered, Kate could see that the house was furnished with warm colors. It looked pleasing to the eyes and seemed to be rather down to earth as compared to the elegant house of Kyle.

Kate was utterly speechless.

You father and son’s taste was so different.

“Kyle?” General Ryan’s voice could be heard from a distance.

“Yeah, I’m back.”

Kyle took off his shoes and changed to sandals before walking inside. It was at this time that Kate realized that even though the house looked somewhat ordinary from outside, the inside was finely decorated.

Alright... the two of them were indeed rich.

And looking at these items, Kate had the feeling that they were not cheap at all. Tsk, she was not antique appraiser.

“Eat first. After this, follow me to the training room.” General Ryan pointed at the table that was filled with food. “Also, what does Little Kitty eat?”

“Milk.” Kyle sat down.

General Ryan arched his eyebrows. “The mutated pets are able to eat more variety of food. Did you not try to allow her to eat anything else?”

“Milk is the safest and she had already sneaked to eat other snacks from time to time.” Kyle shrugged.

“Meow!”

“Meow...”

Kate felt a bit guilty. Alright, she did snack some food from time to time, especially by making use of her mother who loved to cook and also loved cute animals. She had already gotten a lot of food from her.

Kyle saw the little cat lowered her head and was amused. He tapped her head lightly. “Don’t be so naughty, Little Kitty.”

“Meow!”

General Ryan looked at the two of them and somehow felt that the scene was somewhat sweet? He shook his head and sat down. “Just eat. There are not many restaurants that are still open by now.”

“Have you investigated the difference between the mutated animals’ meat and ordinary animals’ meat?”

“Yes, the mutated animals’ meat was more nutritious and seemed to have some reactive that we couldn’t comprehend. The researchers have already extracted a large amount of those reactive and going to test them again tomorrow. You can participate if you want.”

“Got it.” Kyle had read the report about this matter too.

“But you might not be allowed to bring your cat along.” General Ryan glanced at Kate, who was drinking milk dutifully.

“I’ll make a protective gear for her specially.”

General Ryan nearly chocked. He glared at his son, who pretended that nothing happened and still continued to eat the meal in front of him calmly.

“Those protective gear is not cheap...”

“I have money.”

General Ryan gave up.

Who made his son was also someone who had made contributions to the research world? Thinking of his patent that could earn him a lot of money because it was used widely, General Ryan felt that there was really no need for him to lecture his son.

Just like his wife, his son was really hard to control.

Soon, they finished eating.

“Meow?”

Kyle lifted Kate up and walked to another room. After that, they opened a door that was located at the floor.

Kate: “...”

Why does both of you like to have underground basement so much?

Back then, Kyle had an underground basement where he stored all of his resources and insisted on her carrying all of them. Well, it was proven to be useful, but still, what kind of normal people will put a lot of food in their basement.

There were even several floors in that basement.

And this basement of General Ryan was not any better. They only stopped after they had climbed down five times.

Kate looked up.

She sincerely wished to know how in the world did they make this underground basement so sturdy and still could afford to withstand the weight of that house above.

It seemed that the news she heard before that a lot of nation was trying to build their homes underground was indeed true. Rather than staying outside where there were a lot of pollution, they preferred to stay underground where it was already modified to suit their need.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Kate felt that she was truly lacking in news now.

“Meow?”

Just as Kate thought that they were going to see a warehouse, the place in front of her was a wide space. It looked more like training room than a warehouse.
