The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 59

Kate proceeded to take out the few crystals with red and purple color from her space. Those were the crystals she had collected over the past few hours when she was hunting those giant insects.

Uh, hunting didn’t seem to be the correct word.

She was technically killing them when they hadn’t turned conscious yet. It seemed that her waking up earlier had done her good.

Kyle’s eyes narrowed. “Did you get them from hunting those insects along the way?”

In fact, he had found it strange that there were a lot of rotting insects from the path of his house and then outside. It was because of it that he thought of his little cat whom he hadn’t seen and felt that she might have some connection with it.

Now that he saw these crystals, he could basically confirm that those were indeed Kate’s handiwork.

“Meow~.”

Kate turned her head up and down while pushing the crystals closer to Kyle.

.....

Looking at those crystals, Kyle could guess that there were at least hundreds of giant insects that died in Little Kitty’s hand. There was no way that with just her space ability, she will be able to kill them all.

“How did you do that?” Kyle asked. He could see that the cat tilting her head so he phrased his question, “Does your ability increase?”

Kate moved her tail and tapped Kyle’s hand once.

Her ability did increase, but it was not because of its increase that she could kill those insects. So after she had tapped it once, she waited for a second and then tapped Kyle’s hand twice.

Kyle frowned and then thought of another possibility. “Did you gain new ability?”

Kate tapped Kyle’s hand once.

This time, she didn’t do any tapping.

“What kind of ability?” Kyle asked.

Kate looked at Kyle blankly. Uh, that was a good question, but her limited language capability made it impossible for her to answer his question. Kate thought for a moment and then decided to try pushing more of those white colored dots towards Kyle.

There was only a faint black dots floating in some of Kyle’s hand and leg, so Kate slowly pulled those black dots away. When it reached her hand, the white dots came over and destroyed them.

In other words, it was completely gone.

Kate then looked at Kyle as if asking whether he could sense it or not.

Kyle’s eyes flickered. He knew that he had some old wound in his leg. It was something that couldn’t be cured even by Kate’s mother who had wood elemental ability. Even after she poured her wood element, his old wound remained.

He thought that it was because her ability was not high enough.

But now it seemed that the newly awakened ability of Little Kitty was actually a healing type?

Not just an ordinary healing type but one that had such high efficacy?

“Healing ability?” Kyle asked. “If it’s this ability, there’s no way that you can kill those insects.”

Kate looked at Kyle and then took out a green crystal and showed to Kyle how the crystal melted the moment it touched her front limb. She still felt quite full, but an additional crystal would not make not much difference.

Kyle’s eyes flickered.

The wood element was chocolate in color.

Since it was green crystal, it meant that Little Kitty’s ability was somewhat different from the other wood element awakener.

“Heh, you’re really a special little cat, Little Kitty.”

“Meow~”

Kyle tousled Kate’s fur a bit before they finally reached Kyle’s home. The location was not that far but Kate ran around in circle before when she dealt with those insects, so she was actually getting closer to Kyle’s home too.

As soon as they came inside, there was sound of battle coming from the back courtyard.

“Damn! This spider nearly caused me a heart attack when I woke up! Kill it with your icicle, Dylan!”

Swish! Jleb!

Kate watched curiously and saw that there was a pile of dead insects on the backyard. They were stabbed by either icicles or metal spears. The corpses were piled up messily and looked horrible.

Kyle sighed deeply. “Are you going to cause chaos early in the morning?”

“Damn, how can you still be so calm? There are a lot of insects inside your house! When was the last time you clean up your house?” Jake complained vehemently.

“I don’t remember.”

“Ugh! This is so annoying. I bet that my house is even worse...” Jake was dejected when he recalled that his cleaning habit was definitely worse than this. Thinking of countless giant ants squeezing in his room, Jake felt like vomiting.

He didn’t feel like returning back home anymore.
